Environmental Wellbeing Design
Psychology-led design for homes and workspaces
Dr Charlotte Merriman brings together a background in clinical psychology, coaching and therapy, with a diploma in interior design to offer a distinctive approach to space design — one grounded in how people actually think, feel, and function, rather than in style or trend.
Each project begins with an in-depth assessment of the individual's sensory, emotional, and behavioural profile, alongside the practical demands of the space they inhabit. The result is a design tailored not just to how a room looks, but to how it supports concentration, regulation, and comfort for the person using it.
Charlotte has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals — including those with ADHD and sensory processing differences — to create home and work environments that reduce friction and support wellbeing day to day.
